Beginning my career in photography as a photojournalist developed my abilities to work quickly, communicate visually and respect deadlines. Taking those experiences and applying them to the development of a thriving commercial photography studio has been an exciting journey!
What fascinates me about photography is the continuous change and evolution of the world around me. From assignment to assignment, day to day, hour to hour, nothing is ever the same. It is that constant refresh that keeps photography exciting for me personally and all of us at Northlight Studio, Inc. Nothing EVER stops when you’re running a successful commercial photography studio. The equipment changes constantly, the assignments change and the deadlines, well they always change. That’s what keeps us going each day, knowing that each day will be different and present new challenges. That’s the fun of it all!
We are located just north of Chicago and travel extensively throughout the US and internationally. Our commercial and editorial photographic work has allowed me, and my business partners, to travel and work in over 27 different countries and all 50 states!
